Could be in the Caribbean, but doesn't have to be. If anyone has specific places with names of hotels, beachfront cabins, etc. Preferably NOT resorts like Sandals. I'm looking for something out of the way.
All ideas welcome!

check the North Carolina coast. my family and i vacation there every year. there are tons of beaches that most people don't even know exist. think more family vacations-less of the crowds of say a place like myrtle beach or VA beach. head down toward wilmington. there is a beautiful town called southport down there. it is an old historic town with cute little shops and a really beautiful waterfront. there are also several beaches nearby and historic lighthouses. the area looks like something out of a book, and even in june, july, and august it is really quiet. but if you go before or after the typical vacation times then it is even quieter.

side note:i know a woman down there who makes pottery. she is very talented and just recently made 100 ceramic leafs for favors for a wedding. many people down there do local crafts which can really add a personal touch for a wedding.

good luck

Check out Sunset Beach Resort and Spa in Montego Bay Jamaica. My fiance and I went there last summer on vacation. It is so Beautiful there and its off the main strip. You can see all of the mountains off in the distance. The views are breathtaking. While we were there we saw a few couples getting married. They have a Gazebo on the beach or we saw a few people that held their ceremony at the edge of the water. But its not a very crowded resort, but it is still very nice at the same time. Its AAA approved. Also if you would like it to be more intimate go in early May before schools let out and there are lots of family's on vacation.

Check out Sanibel Island, FL. I've never been there, but it was recommended to me when I got married. I wasn't able to, but if I ever marry again ( I'm divorcing) I'll definetely go there. Best of wishes. If you type in Sanibel Island in the search engine, all the information will come up. Congratulations.

Registry workplace would be your maximum inexpensive option, everywhere else (lodge etc) will contain paying to hire the venue and paying to have the registrar attend. wedding ceremony ceremonies outdoors or in a private dwelling house are actually not legally acknowledged interior the united kingdom.

anywhere on the california coast is beautiful. there's a place in san diego called sunset cliffs that's really nice; would have to be a smaller ceremony for that though, not a whole lot of room!
