I have relaxed hair and i want to change my hair color. I used some colorflirt stuff but it's more like a stain it didn't change my hair color. The last time I got highlights and it dried my hair out a little bit. Any idea what I should do?

The only way that actual color will show is if you use premanant dyes which Contains peroxide. It will strip your hair of its strength and moisture just like the highlights did. when permanat color involved you must condition, condition, condition. If not your hair WILL break off. So,you want color, go for the rinses. They won't give the kick of color you want, but you'll have tint.Try colors like Fusia Plum by JAZZing. They also have others you may want to try, as long as it is a rinse.Just go to a beauty supply store and ask questions. And if they don't know so much, bring one of your sister girls in who does hair.

Ive used that too....did you follow the directions exactly and follow up with a good conditioner? that is what is the key to soft beautiful colored hair is the conditioner go to sally's beauty supply and ask them for a thick salon conditioner or you can go to this website below and she has great natural products that work great...you need something that's natural after putting all those harsh chemicals in your hair....i hope your hair ends up looking fabulous!

Oprah said don't color your hair she said use weave or wash out colors or you can use 50/50 of water and peroxide for highlights.

My beautician uses a rinse that is applied when she gives me a relaxer. Works great! Doesn't make the hair stiff, it feels natural.
