The name Brittney used to sound better but thanks to Brittney Spears, now if someone asks me what's the first thing that comes to my mind when they say Brittney, I would reply "a white-trash skankie ho". So, until somebody else screws it up, I would DEFINITELY pick Monica. Still has some class to it.

Brittney.. sounds dainty and cute. I would pick Brittney hands down!!!!
I went to school with a girl named Monica, for some crazy reason, the kids all picked on her because of her name. (Where did your parents come up with that name?/What kind of name is that?) It was so sad to hear what she went threw just because of her name.

Monica. It just seems that the name Brittney is everywhere already. Monica sounds more refined and professional, but sassy and fun too, like the girl from F*R*I*E*N*D*S.

Do NOT name your child Brittney. When she starts school she will be in classes FILLED with other girls anmed Brittney and it will be nasty.
Find some ORIGINAL name for her. And nothing with a "neekwa" sound to it. Nothing like Ramalamadingdong either.
