Your boy sounds perfectly healthy. Try not to worry when he doesn't want to eat. Children are much more in tune with their hunger patterns. At this point, he'll eat when he's hungry. Also, now that he can crawl, he'll slow down on the weight gain and slim down a bit. It's totally normal. I sometimes worry about my 2-year-old, but he's very healthy (36 lbs--what an armload!!). I think worrying just goes with the parenting territory.

this would be a heavily undernourished new child. it somewhat is conceivable that he has an underlying scientific condition this is inflicting undesirable weight income, or that's inflicting him to be no longer able to tolerate meals and diverse textures. babies double their beginning weight by utilising approximately 5 months, and this new child is basically fairly over that. He would desire to have tripled his beginning weight by utilising 9 months. He desires an entire scientific workup, from a doctor who's known with what he's doing and hasn't waited this long to handle a intense situation. babies who don't get sufficient nutrition won't advance proper mentally or bodily--fat is mandatory to create nerve pathways for the duration of the physique, alongside with the strategies. babies who are not gaining weight don't get the fat to make those nerve pathways, in all probability leading to long-term psychological impairment. definite, breast milk is important and is the main suitable ingredient for a new child, yet no longer on the price of the toddler's usual well-being.

don't feel bad i have a 13 month old that barley weighs 18 pounds and refuses food. I have had her tested for blockages in her esophagus and other things with no results. All you can do is keep trying your best to encourage your baby to eat, but don't force it.

I use to worry to at times. But now my kids are 19 and 13 years old and believe me, they have no problems. It is probably just a phase and he'll grow out of it. May God Bless

Loosing some weight is not a big deal. At this age, there is so much to explore, easily distracted. As long as your baby looks proportional, not like skeleton & bones, he is fine.

Your child is perfectly healthy, you have nothing to worry about. He will eat when he is hungry.
