The first thing to recognize is that the sun is an extremely bright source of light -- much brighter than the moon. The second thing to recognize is that the atoms of nitrogen and oxygen in the atmosphere have an effect on the sunlight that passes through them.
There is a physical phenomenon called Rayleigh scattering that causes light to scatter when it passes through particles that have a diameter one-tenth that of the wavelength (color) of the light. Sunlight is made up of all different colors of light, but because of the elements in the atmosphere the color blue is scattered much more efficiently than the other colors.
So when you look at the sky on a clear day, you can see the sun as a bright disk. The blueness you see everywhere else is all of the atoms in the atmosphere scattering blue light toward you. (Because red light, yellow light, green light and the other colors aren't scattered nearly as well, you see the sky as blue.)

The Bible is really just a fake story, perhaps a bit like the Loch Ness monster tales.
When we pass on information to another (example: story, joke, description of something etc) by the time these details are passed on by word of mouth, interpreted by others, and then written down, the final details are typically quite different than the original information.
Since the Bible is just a man-made story passed down over many years in various forms, the chance of it being accurate in any shape or form is remote.
There are people who swear blind that the Loch Ness monster exists regardless of all the evidence to the contrary, but a fence post bobbing up and down in the Loch does the trick. Similarly there are people who swear blind that God exists and the Bible is fact, yet there isn’t one blind bit of evidence to support such theories.
Biblical tales are really no different than Loch Ness monster tales, just the era is different. There is not one single matter discussed in the Bible out of the many thousands of issues raised that has been proven true, yet many matters have been proven false.
You don’t really need to be a rocket scientist to deduce with practically 100% certainty that God and the Bible are fake.

Because when I look around at the world we live in I see two things, I see people running around in so many different directions unable to find true peace and happiness. All these different religions claiming they have the path to true happiness. Christians, Buddhists, Athiests, Philosophy (yes they are religions) yet nothing has truly been accompished.
The second thing I see is a planet that is truly magnificent, Just sitting and observing nature in a place that few men have seen gives a person this sense of enlightenment. The complicity of even the simplest animals if you just take the time to watch them speaks volumes. There of course there is the most amazing event any person can experience. Birth
There has to be a reason we are all here. To assume that we are only here because of a series of random events that started in a flaming ball of chaos just doesn't answer that question. As the world becomes increasingly violent it is obvious to me that if we are the product of evolution (meaning there was absolutely no intelligence involved in the processes involved in the accidents that brought about life and eventually the vastly superior human) then there is no purpose for our being here. Any purpose we have then is the product of the human mind which in the grand scheme of things doesn't mean anything. There has to be an answer, there has to be something superior to man that caused all of this. We make fun of ancient people that used to believe the earth was the center of the universe, Why is believing that man is the only intelligent creation on this planet any different?
A person can spout science all they want but my question is how did such order or laws come to be then? Can order truly arise out of nothingness? What evolutionary process could possibly cause such perfect laws?

Can you see your brain? Can you see your heart? Well if you can't see them how do you know they excist? You say there is no evidence of God yet we fail to observe simple yet profound things
We are on a ball, floating in endless space. There is a law called gravity and we didn't create it. Imagine if we had to wake up and wind up our heart everyday, most of us would be dead because we might forget. The only thing that connects us all to this life is the breath and we all breathe the same. What makes the seasons change year in and year out, why is the sky Blue? What causes the 9 systems of our body to work with unerring accuracy? How is it that in some places in the world it is yesterday and in other places in the world it is tomorrow, AT THE SAME TIME!
There is a higher power that is causing these things to happen the way that they do. Mankind is but a small part of the bigger picture which is creation itself and we all have individual action being controlled all the way down to the meandering of a man's mind in his search to find happiness.
How can God be everywhere at the same time. Just look at your physical reflect, the sky. The sky is everywhere at the same time and there is no where that the sky is not there. God is the same way. He is the source, substance, limits, and bounds of all things both invisible and visible.

Since everything we see and know on the Earth seems to have a beginning and an end, it is natural for man to wonder if the universe too has a beginning and an end. Science says it does.
Therefor, we wonder how it all began. We think there must have been a Prime Mover that is something other than what we can see or touch. Over the years mankind has given human attributes to this Prime Mover, but no one can know for sure. That is what faith is for. Man has faith that there is a greater good somewhere that cares about us and watches over us.
Each religion seems to create a God that fits their beliefs.
Common sense tells us that the world would be a good place if we cared for one another instead of warring.
You have to choose for yourself what to believe. You will believe in whatever gets you through the day. For some that is God.

Even without a book, regardless of how smart we get, we'll never figure out all the mysteries of the universe, and it's good to know that we dont have to figure them out either because God has them under controll. It's also great to have hope that it CAN be much better than this and you may even get to see it. Whats wrong with the idea that when life is over here, that it is not over for good? Plus, it is likely that if there were no believers in God that we would have all died out by now. Nonexistance isnt a scary thought at all, I know that ive been sick enough at times that if I really thought or knew there was nothing after this I would have killed myself. I think many more people would and there would be a much larger number of people who arent worried about who they hurt so long as they dont get caught.
Take note to the barrage of negative, anger inticing comments from the Atheists.... isnt it a GOOD thing that some people still believe they should treat others with respect?

The All that makes us part of it. There is no separation, all that is is in fact One. That's what makes it important, no he; she; or it; just the One; God. It too simple for most folk to accept, that's why it all gets jazzed up; like a show for the folks. Hey we all love a good show and some people like the religious shows more than say a theater show. It all goes back to the same place though, all back to the One. You are part of it as much as any other, it's a closed system if you would consider it this way. So believe, don't believe; or don't ever consider it again; nothing changes; it simply returns to the start. Cool question, your a thinker; I think; LOL!

The basis of a religious belief lends purpose to our existence while also allowing us to convince ourselves that there is more than just this life. That the dreaded death waiting for us all is not the only thing that is for certain in this world. Also it is a way for us to raise ourselves up above all other creatures on earth because we are so pompous and think the universe revolves around us.
For alot of people it beats being alone and afraid.

He is the Creator of the entire universe as we understand it, He knows each star by name, He placed the sun and the moon in the Heaven to guide us, He gives us rain to make crops grow, so we have food, clothing, shelter, He gives us children and grandchildren to fill our heart, He gives us beauty to look at, music to listen to, He gave us our senses to hear, touch, smell, taste, see, He gives us breath in our bodies, every day we wake up to another chance, a brand new day. He gives su knowledge and wisdom, some more than others, but He blesses all of us every day. Even the ones who do not believe in Him get in on the daily blessings because He is so full of love for them, He wants them to know Him. After all these wonderful things, the best and most important thing is He loved us so much and wants to spend forever with us, that He volunteered to take the punishment for our sins so that we can live in a place that He has createdjust for us, a paradise for us to live in for all eternity. It is filled with love and joy, no tears, no death, no disease, no hate, He did it especially for us.

The importance of God is peace of mind, a spiritual peace, a love that is given to others unconditionally. It is helping someone you don't know. It is laying down at night with a peace that all is well when all is in turmoil. It is appreciating the things God created, the natural beauty that surrounds us. It is enjoying the birds that God created for their beautiful songs. The importance of God is the appreciation of God. The importance of God is not only external but also internal.
