Believe it or not,the stuff they use on cracked cow udders is the best thing in the world for that condition. It is called "Udder Balm". You can find it at any "Farm and Fleet" or animal supply source.

I don't have problems with that except a little in summer when I wear sandals. I apply lotion at bedtime every night to prevent it.
If you have a bad case of it, soak your feet in the bathtub or in some warm soapy water.Then use a foot file or some sort of scrubbing device for the heels immediately afterward while it's soft from the water soak, then apply vaseline nightly at bedtime. If you wear some cotton socks in the bed it will soften faster and also keep vaseline off your linen. This might take quiet a while if it's bad, but with time they will improve. After they improve, continue to keep them soft by applying a little lotion or vaseline at bedtime or when you put on your shoes everyday if they're not open shoes.

While you are in the shower, take a foot file (you can find them at Target, Bath & Body Works, even Wal-mart) and spend 2-3 minutes on each heel, exfoliating the rough skin. After the shower, apply either a rich moisturing cream or vaseline and put socks on. This will do wonders!

Get a foot file (looks a bit like a small carrot grater) and file off the dead, calloused skin. Then rub lots of peppermint/rosemary foot lotion (Bath & Body Works has a great one) all over your feet.

You can do the foot file about once a week, the lotion every day. Also wear socks as often as possible; they keep the moisture in your skin.

I had the exact same problem and now my feet look really nice.

When you go to bed tonight, apply Vaseline liberally to your feet. Apply white socks (if possible) and wear throughout the night. In the morning, you won't believe the difference. Continue to use as needed.

Not recommended if you are diabetic. In that case, you should be seen by a podiatrist to make sure you don't have a more serious, underlying problem.

Use a pumice stone during your bath or shower or soak your feet in epsom salt and warm water before bed. Dry your feet and slather on vaseline (the greasy stuff in the small tub) then wrap your feet in saran (plastic)wrap and put socks over the plastic wrap. A few nights of this should help significantly.

soak your feet for around 10-15 minutes. then use a pumice stone (which you can buy in a pharmacy) to gently rub off any loose,hard skin. once thats done, use a moisteriser such as cocoa butter cream or a cream made by vaseline. works a treat!

first make sure you are getting enough vitamin E and have fish in your diet. they both help you skin. then use a pumice stone to brush off the dry cracked skin. use a good cream or lotion and wear socks to keep them moist, but I still bet it comes down to your diet not having enough grain and healthy oils to keep your skin nice and healthy. you may even want to rub vitamin E right on the skin. just pop the little capsules and apply like baby oil, then wear cotton socks to bed.

What Rosie meant was use a PUMICE stone to rub your heels with - it will "sandpaper" off the dead skin. You can find them at most pharmacies/convenience stors or Dept. stores along with bath goods.
