Pastor Joseph did not fall into sin as most have speculated. Pastor Joseph is a true man of God that speaks truly from the heart. Pastor Joseph Vijayan could no longer stand the senior Pastors around him that look down on other churches and denominations.
Most of the workers that were trained in the New Testament Church headquarters in Newark, NJ - judge other christians based upon their appearances and way of living.
NTC church members as well as workers have so much spiritual pride that they think they are going to Zion and Jerusalem and the rest of the christians are going to New Earth and New Heaven.
If you listen to Pastor Joseph's sermon closely, he fully talks about true christians and the ones that are really sincere for the Lord and His work. He emphazises on the true love for God.
When he was a junior worker in Australia, he told a sister that she can to attend any church to have fellowship because there was no church yet at the time in Australia. He was rebuked by the elders and senior pastors for saying stuff like that. When he arrived in Newark, New Jersey, He has a heart for new souls as well as the spiritual growth of believers. He lead the church with a newly renovated New Jersey church and faith home, but was criticized for wasting the church money for tranforming the New Jersey church into looking like a real church. Give him a break the New Jersey church looks like a slum for years before the arrival of Pastor Joseph and no one really make the effort to upgrade that old building.
Pastor Joseph's departure from the CPM church is a wake-up call for all the workers and believers of the CPM organization. Stop your spiritual pride and start focusing on having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

To jo1smith,
Your answer to this question is based completely on speculation, just as the other stories. The fact is you don't know what really happend ... yet you chose to take this speculated story and state it as fact on the international web.
If you knew anything, you would know that all construction and rennovations are approved by elders before hand. Pastor does not have a checkbook where he can do whatsoever he pleases. If you knew anything, you would know that last year, the first year the elders were able to see the re-designed church, they were very well pleased and happy that the project had gone forward. If you knew anything, the church you are referring to has conducted numerous construction and rennovation projects in its various assemblies for the sake of the growth of the church, over the past few years. If you knew anything, you would know that Pastor had stated that his departure had nothing to do with the church, doctorines, elders, ministry, or believers.
The fact is, you don't know. And since you don't know, don't make your "maybe" stories into facts. There are alot of "maybe" stories that have turned into being boldly stated as fact by gossipers, such as yourself, who have chosen to speak against a particular church.
Pray for all minsters, in all churches, worldwide. They are human, flesh & bones, and need our prayers just as much as they pray for us.
