Ford F-150 currently is, however GM's two twin products (the Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra) outsell the F-150. Chevy on its own is closing the gap, and with a new version coming out late this fall should make a run at the F-150. The two GM products which are at the end of their lifecycle have continued to gain market share, while the F-150's market share has declined even though it's a newer model (although holding a lead over Chevy.)

Ford F-series is if you go by brand only

Chevrolet and GMC combined (where it's the same truck basically except for the badging) outsell Fords by about 200,000 units a year.

Fords have been best selling since 1977 or 1978.. Fords usually win in the truck market if you go by brand name only.

Being a Ford salesman, I can say with a good degree of authority that the Ford F-150 is the best-selling truck, and has been for 30 years.

Ford F-150 is the best selling vehicle in the states for the past 10 years or so.....that trend will likely change in the next 2 years because of the price of gas.

Ford F series(150,250,350,450,550,650,750). And don't worry about gm catching up. From the looks of their new truck line...Ford will stay on top of sales.
