My Fuji S5200 came with a 16 MB xD card. All the print on the surface is in silver ink. (Logo is Standard gold color).
As I look on the internet I notice cards with Silver color letters and other xD cards with Gold letterings in the size area.

There is a difference, however when I contacted Tech assistance today the tech did not know the reason for this difference.

Would anyone have the answer. Thanks

I believe the difference is between the older Type H cards and newer Type M cards, which are available in sizes up to 2 gigs. Your camera should be able to handle the newer Type M cards, unlike some of the models that came out when the xD card was new.

Be careful if you buy a card reader for your xD cards. Some older models won't handle the Type M cards.
