not that long if the cat is without shade and water it can get dehydrated or heat stroke. Very dangerous.

Estrus typically lasts 4-6 days (some can go as long as 10) and if unmated can be in heat every 2nd or third week during spring and summer. If mated, they usually stop calling (howling for a male) within 24 hours. After giving birth a female cat may come in heat again immediately although this usually happens after about 4 weeks.
Some breeds, such as British shorthairs, are seasonal breeders and they may only come in heat once or twice a year. There are other cats, particularly Siamese and Orientals, who call almost continuously.
In winter, many will have a break from calling although, heating, artificial lighting and good nutrition mean they may continue breeding through winter.

It will end when you call your vet and schedule both to be spayed by the end of March. Heat cycles vary but in general they last for about a week at a time, then cycle again in 3-4 weeks. Its hard to predict when they will be out of heat once they start so you probably will end up paying more to spay when in heat. Keep them inside untill they are spayed. This is why you should have kittens spayed/neutered by 3-4 months old before they start the heat cycles.

she will stay in heat for about a week or so, then stop, then go back into heat two weeks later. Then, she will not have another cycle or 4-6 mos. Remember the rule is usually 2wks on, then 2wks off

it depends. one of my female stay in heat for as long as a week, another one about 2-3days.

my daddy nos alot bout cats and animals and he sez that cats r in heat most of the time they r alive except when there babys or when there pregnent

could be up to 7 to 10 days...hopefully not that long...lol , but you really need to consider spaying
