You have to re-format your laptop, maybe someone else already started it in Arabic, make sure you have a start-up disc for xp. failing that learn Arabic, but option 1 is alot easier!

No for 2 motives.First the HP CD is tied to the unique hardware and your replica will lock on activation and 2nd you won't be ready to even circulate with the setting up whilst the CD detects that that isn't a HP bios

The above answer works, but I would personally format and start again. Then it would be set up exactly how I like it and I'd know there are no viruses or spyware.

control panel
regional and language (globe icon)
change top address bar to English
bottom to UK/USA
click 3 rd tab (advanced)
change address bar to English
tick bottom box (apply all setting to the currant user account and to the default user profile)
