Interesting question.
In the Old Religion, spiders were considered female and the creators of language. Spiders in Native Mythology are considered grandmothers. So in fact, if god is female, this goddess would have created spiders! Also...
Someone also mentioned snakes. Same thing. The snake in many pagan pantheons is considered a representation of the Goddess.

God is autoerotic? I doubt it. There are good arguements for both. The proof:
God created man in his own image. Then he took a rib from man and made woman. It was a cheaper cut.

Women prove that God is a man just by existing. The fact that men have one less rib than women is good enough proof to me.

No. God has to be a male. No woman would or could let things get this badly screwed up.

Same thing for snakes. I believe in God but He must be He because no woman I know would make snakes.

God is both male and female. Do you really think that if God were totally masculine, He would have put all these flowers and rainbows here?
