And always, ALWAYS, resort back to "god did it" when someone asks you a tough question.

Q. How can one convert from an Atheist to a Christian? A. I am not trying to convert anyone. I respect all belief systems. People intent on conversion cease to be logical at some point...and can often be offensive.
1. Q. Fairy tale coat everything you dont understand. A. I don't think the Bible fairy coats anything...some of it is very, very grim. I do think some people hide behind scripture when they can't think of anything else to say. There is something rote and cardboard about it. It often lacks any genuine thought.
2. Q. NEVER EVER think about where God came from. A. I don't have to think about it...it simply "Is"...and includes both of us. It is all inclusive. It is a matter of quiet acceptance...and something you have to do willingly in order to "know it".
3. Q. Just keep telling yourself "I'm going to hell if I dont believe", say it until you feel a deep fear. A. Hell is a man-made invention to scare people into submission. It is just the opposite...it is about Love...for all...and none of us are going there...we are working it out, right where we are. "There is an easy way; and there is a hard way."
4. Q. When talking to an Atheist, stop the conversation when he begins to make you think too much. A. There is no such thing as a limit to shared ideas and concepts...but I know to what you are referring...and acknowledge it. Is their faith that shaky? It does make you wonder. They mire themselves in fear based concepts.
5. Q. Have faith, in other words, disregard ALL logic. Especially if it's coming from Atheists. A. Logic is reason...I don't discount the voice of reason...and I doubt you do, either. Some people are very literal and will defend a parable to death while missing the point to it, for example.
6. Q. Always look for simple answers. Especially when it comes to this complicated Universe. A. The Universe is so complicated, I thought it through, and arrived at one absolute. No matter what I studied...it all led back to the same truths: "Universal Laws" that apply to all of mankind...without exception...A Divine Law, I barely comprehend in its enormity...and yet surprisingly simple when you add it all up. It is man that complicates it...and it becomes complicated in its simplicity. Deceptively simple.
7. Q. Limit your thinking abilities. Thinking too much can hurt your faith. A. Well, this brings me back to my point: "Is their faith so shaky, they can't have it challenged?" I like talking with people from all around the world and within different belief systems. It only serves to strengthen my faith...not weaken it. This is a very legitimate observation.

My answers are better:
How can one convert from an Atheist to a Christian?
1. Belive that people require a maker, upon finding a watch you wouldn't assume it evolved from various elements but you believe people did.
2. Really think about where you came from, show me one creature thats half one and half another, why are there still "lower life forms"?
3. Just keep telling yourself "God made me in his image", say it until you feel a deep love of yourself
4. When talking to an Christian, quit stopping the conversation when he begins to make you feel too much
5. Have faith, in other words, look around and realize that it couldn't have just happened.
6. Always look for simple answers. Especially when it comes to this complicated Universe. Realize that you are a mathematical impossibility then wonder how you got here.
7. Expand your thinking abilities, don't limit yourself to current scientific views, remember 1000 years ago people though the world was flat. They also thought much of the bible was false until the proof was found. Thinking too much can increase your faith.

ok, that's stupid. not just offensive, but not making sense, too.
i am christian [and catholic, moreover] and i love math and logic. i don't like a lot of people who are in my faith, but i still believe in it and its teachings. i'm not afraid to disregard logic and common sense, which is why i believe in God. and i'm not mind-defective or anything--i've always gotten straight A-s and i have an iq of 125.
hell has never been a motivation for me to be good--at least, not for very long. only people with incredibly shallow fear have to constantly remind themselves of hell. besides, i wouldn't believe in a God who only gets people through scare tactics.
i might also add that many great thinkers and masters of logic were christian, for example, thomas aquinas. try reading his summa theologica--it's tough, but it pretty much KILLS all of the faulty arguments you're using. and you don't need a smidgeon of faith, just a BRAIN.
believing in God has never made me 'feel a deep fear.' when i'm trying to be a good person, it's not because i'm scared of burning forever, it's because i know that there's a God out there who loves me and i should accept his love, instead of throwing it back in his face.
no, faith is necessary for other things. but you have to believe in God regardless of your faith level, otherwise you're:
1. stupid
2. have really sucky logical arguments. [and really sad attempts at 'humor' and witticism'.]
any person who can think and isn't afraid of the truth can understand the basis for christianity.
the simple answers are the answers to the important questions, such as 'does God love me?' [yes] 'how can i be happy?' [finding fulfillment] and so on. there are complicated answers to things like the luminosity of stars and the formation of galaxies, but are those the vitally important things in the long run? i mean, we only live so long.

It's the Atheists choice. The Atheist has been given all the evidence by creation and God says that because of this no man will have an excuse.
The balls in the Atheist court. He can either hold the ball or give to the one whose in charge of all things.

Just think to yourself, "Am I really just an accident whose life has no more meaning and purpose than a cockroach? My existence doesn't matter and my life doesn't matter. My doing good is pointless. Why should I care if doing good helps the human species? Why should I even get my pathetic, pointless bum out of bed in the morning??? And when you are at the bottom of your barrell which has more purpose than your "excuse of a life," then you will find yourself looking for something greater than yourself. And if you are lucky, you will be pulled out of the muck and mire that you swim in. If you aren't so lucky, you will find yourself in a place that's even more miserable than where you are...if that's even possible.
Cheers!

There are always questions that are not answered. That's why we have faith. It is not our place to question or second guess what God says or does. If you have faith then you just have to rely on that faith to see you through. Everybody has different ways of making it through life and we all need something to lean on to get us through the hard times. Some of us chose to lean on God. God is God, he always has been.

I just love it when I find the stereotype monster every day. I may be wrong, but it sounds like you're trying to convert Christians into being atheists.
Why can't you just be fine with the decision you've made? Is someone asking you to pick up a bible or something?

Faith is much deeper than that.
There has to be an honest, earnest belief.
There are some who question nothing, but it is this line of thought that causes conflict.
I have no beef with Christians, unless it becomes a personal attack.
I have no beef with Atheists, unless it becomes a personal attack.
I will explain my beliefs, but I will never try to convince you that your approach is wrong.
Since nothing has GodsHousekeeping Seal of Approval, it's all guesswork.

1. get lobotomy
1. blame atheists for getting prayer out of schools when it was the catholics that initiated that lawsuit.
1. run for office to get your religion in laws.
1. promote hate.
1. insist that the words "in god we trust" have always been on money even though it first appeared in 1957
1. insist that the words "under god" have always been part of the pledge of allegiance even though it first appeared 1956
all of these were numbered 1. because after the lobotomy they can't even count anymore.

And don't ever question what you were taught! Don't take a step back to think about your religion and of course think your religion is the best. Then, really, everybody would be convinced.
