She has no class. Doesn't matter if you consider it blasphemy - as long as people pay to her act like that, she will continue to do it. If people would stop supporting her, she'd have no reason to do things like that.

A TOTAL act of blasphemy! That figures; she already turned her back on the Catholic religion when she went all Kabbalah (which, by the way, is only supposed to be for Jewish men over 40 who have studied the Torah quite a lot).

Well, as a christian, I find it offensive for anyone to do this, just as I find it offensive as an American to burn the American flag, except in the case of burning an old flag that is tattered and should no longer be used. Why she feels the need to do this I really don't know. Only she can answer that. Which is something I have yet to hear her explain. In the end she only has to answer to Him. I try not to judge though, that's not up to me. I just get offended that's all.

I don't know. I do know Crucifixion was a very common way of execution in the Roman era of Jesus. Madonna is getting publicity, and that is what she wants.

It was done to achieve exactly what she achieved: to get people to notice her and talk about her. Blasphemy, I don't know. A lot of stuff goes on that could be called blasphemy and nobody seems to mind.

I saw it personally in concert and it was awesome acts of entertaining blasphemy. The Vatican needs to get over itself. They house pedophiles for Pete's sake.

It was entertainment of the best kind. She did it in a country where the seat of religious power resides and where 70% of the people who live there no longer attend church.

I thought the word "Blasphemy" was becoming extinct. Glad to see someone other than Muslims also care about GOD and his Prophets.

I haven't seen it so I don't know what her point is. But it is possible that she is being deliberately offensive, to shock and gain publicity.

She's been in the business a long time and it might be harder and harder for her to get attention.

I doubt she'll be attacking any group known to retaliate violently.
