Used in the context of "singles & dating," a date is when 2 people who would like to know more about each other go out somewhere to spend time together. Examples of a date might include going out to dinner, a movie, dancing, a sporting event, etc...

A date is when 2 people do something together and both think its a date :).
Like even if 2 people go out to a movie together and then get ice cream and one person pays for it and then walks that person to their door at home, if one person here thought they were just hanging out and it wasnt a date then its not a date!

In my opinion it's when two people got out together to enjoy each others company doing something they both enjoy! It can be as simple as staying home and watching a movie together or going out on the town to dinner, a show, or a walk on the beach. A date can be what ever you want it to be, just make sure you both enjoy it and that's all that matters! HAVE FUN!!!

Depends on what you mean, it can be a fruit, August 9, 2006, or an event when two people (intimately) or 4 or more (group) go out somewhere (dinner, movie, skating, house party, dance) and have a fun time.

Either
A, a gross fruit that my mom says I need to eat anyway...*HISS*
B, a day on the calendar, or in time (EG, Today, Tomorrow, January 1st, etc.)
C, when people meet up and go somewhere
Those are quite broad but I think you get the point...

Either, it's a disgusting dried fruit, orrr, it's a gathering of two individuals who are fairly interested in one another. Your choice.
