...always closed minded, rude, probably poorly educated and usually hard-sell peddlers of Atheism? They are not deep thinkers or scientist who are open to look at all possibilities. They seem to be driven by a desire to stamp out the concept of God, rather than have a scientific discussion on the origins of life and the universe. Thank God they are not religious, they would be intollerable. Have you ever noticed that?

Hey, Captain Atheism: I understand what is currently known in the theory of evolution. I know it is responsible for the diversity of species. It does not account for the existence of life, matter and the universe, nor does it explain the incredible differences between the intellect of man and all other species.

Oh no. It just seems that way. It is frustration.

You see, trying to explain the fact of evolution to someone of such a lesser intellect is incredibly frustrating. Creationists are always posting things like "science believes _______" followed by a pile of nonsense that has nothing to do with scientific thought. Then they ask questions that they would not have to ask if they had the *slightest* scientific education.

THEN, (this is the best part) in defense of their mythological point of view, they post "arguments" that have been refuted time and time again, countless times, over and over and over and over again. Personally, if I have to watch one more creationist make the mistake of denying the antecedents, I am going to SCREAM! Anyway, it then becomes clear to those of us with any brains that we may as well just explain this to our dog, because we've already explained a particular argument to the creationist a million times and they aren't going to get it either.

Frustration does funny things to people. Pity us, we have to deal with the poorest most illogical thinkers on the planet - the creationist. It's very stressful.

I've never felt the need to defend evolution, it's a foregone conclusion - ask a biologist. Evolution is accepted as fact scientifically, only the mechanism is still in theory. I have responded to questions on evolution and previously stated this, but your pigeonholing is faulty. I'm neither an Atheist, nor poorly educated, nor close minded. Hmmm...I can be rude lol, but trying hard not to display it right now. Have to say though, I find the fanatically religious to be extremely intolerable on a regular basis, not to mention so close-minded many of them seem to have had a lobotomy. Oops, there went my attempt at not being rude, ah well lol, carry on.

Sure are. Your first answer is proof.

Proving evolution with evidence is quite impossible.
All the concepts given are quite funny and can be disproved with lack of evidence from their own theory.
Evolution is from observation and scientists have accepted the theory since there has been no genetic, heretic or evidence of the missing link.
Oh and adaption is not evolution.

That is why Evolution should not be discussed in teh Religion and Spirituality seciton, because it is neither (well, I guess it is a religion for some, since it is very much faith based just like Creationism). It should be discussed in the Biology section.

Hehe, you don't believe in evolution?

That's all I really need to know about you, I guess. :) You DO believe in gravity, right?

Oh well, if you choose to defy reality, then there's not much we can do for you. Evolution has nothing to do with your god, it just exists. But you should really attempt to wedge your religion into established fact, rather than deny facts altogether. It would make you seem considerably more intelligent.

Hmm.. it sounds to me like you're trying to describe the religious people. There are certainly close minded uneducated atheists but I if you're going to make a generalization you just described religious people. They are know for being close minded hypocrits.

Hi, I'm an agnostic. I read the Bible about 60 minutes a day. I don't believe in God.

Do you have any empirical evidence about your God or Gods, that you could share it, something that is an expirience that could be repeated, so I also could believe in God?

k, thanks, in the meantime I see lots of evidence for evolution

no we don't see that ..

what we see is that Christians refuse to accept the learned considered answers and ignore all evidence they are WRONG.

Religious nuts like to continue belief no matter what... and never consent to learn. (of course as soon as they do consent to use rational thinking, their beliefs begin looking really bad ... and the bible is tossed)
