I posted a question under the homosexual forum, the question was, I'm inviting my GF to stay the night, what is a good movie to watch? Then I get an answer like this, can anyone tell me why?

Big B

ALL HOMOSEXUALS WILL ACQUIRE THE AIDS VIRUS AND SUFFER A HORRIBLE, SLOW, DEATH! STOP YOUR SINNING NOW, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE, AND REPENT SO THAT YOU WILL NOT BURN IN HELL FOR ETERNITY!

What ever happened to tolerance, religion might be part of your life, but not mine, his answer has nothing to do with what I asked either.

REPORT THE MORON. THEY ARE CLOSE MINDED ANYWAYS, IGNORE THEM.

Dear Fiesty Red Head,

Sorry that Big B (whoever the heck he is) gave you such a terrible answer. i'm not sure where he gets his idea from, and i think that he's just being rude and most definitely misrepresenting who God is.

i won't share any of my views on homosexuality since you didn't ask... but i will share once again that Big B's view is unbiblical in terms of homosexuals all acuqiring aids and that they should suffer a slow horrible death and i'm so very sorry that you had to endure that kind of abuse.

A good movie that i recently saw on video was: Million Dollar Baby.

Take Care,

Nickster

Wow! Whoever sent that answer needs to come out of the closet.

With a few modifications, it could be made into a more accurate answer:

Change "Homosexuals" to "people."

Eliminate the phrase "WILL ACQUIRE THE AIDS VIRUS AND."

But even then, I'd direct the answer only toward myself and not be so bold as to assume I have the authority to direct this admonition toward others!

By the way...what movie did you end up watching?

(In my defense I should let you know that I'm a very conservative Catholic...married to another feisty red-head for 26 years. Trust me, most Christians AREN'T like that...those who are are just loud!)

Goddamn I feel bad for you. I don't understand why some people can't just live and let live. I remember this story they used to make us read in elementary school, "The Meanies" or something like that. It was about these little green things that lived in garbage cans and made fun of people and didn't accept people for who they were. It was supposed to show how foolish people look when they are being mean. Apparently a few people took the bible more seriously than this little book. I'm sorry you had to put up with that crap, it's just not necessary.

Ignor the idiots. It's not worth it. I don't think that person actually believes that but is playing subterfuge(sp).

I agree with Shlane. I'm a Roman Catholic too and have a bunch of Gay friends. I don't judge them, it's not my job. Did you know that one of the names of Satan is 'the accuser' in the Bible? Whether you believe or not, it says a lot about some of the so called Christians who go around judging. I belong to a group called Patriot Guard. We go to the funerals of military soldiers to protect the family against those crazy Baptists (I know it's not all Baptists) who say that the reason soldiers are dying is because God is punishing us because He hates Gays. Is that crazy or what? They need to read their Bible.

Did you get a legit answer? I suggest Amelie unless you've already seen it. It's funny as hell.

Now why would you say something like this: "Suck my vagina you unbelievers!!!!!" in your profile and then complain about someone being intolerant?

Actually, by warning people of the medical dangers of homosexual conduct, the person who answered your question was trying to do a favor for people who engage in gay sex. He/she was performing an act of charity.

We must be loving and respectful and tolerant of people -- but there's no reason to be tolerant of all BEHAVIORS.

Especially when the behavior in question renders one's lifespan to be about 30 years less than the national average. One that puts people at huge risk for a whole long list of deadly diseases, and not just AIDS.

Sorry, but there's no reason to be tolerant of any medically dangerous behavior -- be it smoking, or eating fast food three times a day, or homosexual sex.

He's just sayin' is all!

Wait, did I just assume such an ignorant statement had to be from a male?

Funny, that. Though this by no means even insinuates that women don't do the same thing. Anyway, I liked She's the Man (and yes [sadly] I am an adult.) It's pretty cute. Or another great one is Someone Like You.

Some people are afriad of people that are not exactly the same as them, and so they use other things, like religion, to verify their own beliefs and attack others. This is a human condition. You just have to ignore them and realize how screwed up these people are. Those are the ones who will go to hell.

Tolerance has only slowly been picking up steam in the past 100 years or so. And Christianity is a huge obstacle to that.

These kinds of people are the scourge of humanity. It's best to just ignore them... or, if it's possible, try to find the humour in knowing that people that stupid really can breathe and type on a computer by themselves. Also, you can find comfort in the fact that if someone _that_ retarded doesn't like you, you must be doing something right!

He sounds unstable, i wouldn't put too much stock into what he says.

I personally like the movie Just Friends (Amy Smart, Ryan Reynolds). Funny movie but had enough romance in it and spread around so that you should have a rather good time.
