I am ordering them online to be shipped to my house. The wedding is in April 2007. How long do they last, and when do you think I should order them?

Check with the company, take in to account shipping time, etc. I think M&M's have a shelf life of at least 6 months. If possible (again, shipping & processing time, time to fix any mistakes in color, etc), I would think ordering them in January or February would make sense to avoid the December holiday rush.

You should probably check with the company but I think you could order them now if you want to - just make sure you have a dark, cool and dry place to keep them. Otherwise they could melt, go stale, get sticky or any number of things. I think that this is a case where the company can actually help you with storage ideas and the like. Good luck!

Call the company and ask. I almost ordered M&M's for my wedding this past June, but I decided it was a little too pricey for me. Good luck!
