i have been posting questions since last week about my kitten...she had jaundice and had to be put to sleep after only having her for 4 days...the shelter gave me a new kitten and i was really picky about this one...he is 100% healthy except for Coccidia...which the vet found yesterday on a rutin check-up...they gave me meds for him (thick yellow liquid)....im paranoid now that this is going to make him sicker even though he has none of the signs for Coccidia...should i worry or is he going to be fine....they say he's almost 4 months old now and very healthy...help

First of all sorry to hear about kitten one.
I searched the web, which sure you could too. I know it must be hard right now.
I found this web site. It says it is somewhat common if it was in a shelter and if it was closed in with mommy who had Coccidiosis in her feces. If your kitten has diarrhea and it is bloody. Then it could be bad. If not it is just a mild case and kitty should be ok with the meds.
Read and go to the vet if you see any new signs or symptoms.
Good luck with Kitty I wish you both long life!

I had the same thing happen when I adopted my cat. He was two months old and they told me had Coccidia after I paid the money and signed the papers. But they gave me the meds and I gave them to Dantes even though I don't remember him doing much be sneezing once and while.

He's a perfectly healthy year old cat now.

And sorry about the first cat that happened when my bf adopted a cat and he was really nervous about adopting another one, so I adopted Dantes and we both spoil him rotten.

Give kitty the medicine. Little kittens get sick and they die because they are not well enough to live. It is sad. Wouldn't you rather have a healthy kitten? Lots of kittens live. Be a nice kitty mama, and things will be fine.
