I often hear people discussing what their family means to them. I just want to know what you think you mean to your family.

I think I mean "It is possible" with my family. My mother, sister, brother, and aunt all look up to it. I am the first to graduate from college and I am beginning a great career and life. I let them know it is possible, and they make it all worth while.

So agian I ask, what do you mean to your family?

My wife and kids look at me as the spiritual leader of the family, as well as the supplier of shopping money!

I guess I represent stability to my family. I have always been a stay at home mom and have been here for my kids. I have been to all the parties and field trips at school. I am here everyday to fix supper and help with homework. I know when I am sick the house is chaos...so with out me my family would be lost.

to be honest, I don't know.......I am a mother a wife a sister a daughter a grandaughter an aunt......but those are just words....

what do they mean.....so really sometimes I just don't know.....and that is kind of a sad feeling

because it is true.....we treat our friends and total strangers much better than we treat our family.....

My self......I would lay down my life to save my children....my husband....my parents....my grandparents......my siblings.....you get the picture....to me.....those people are my life, my reason to be.....

I would take away any pain if I were able.....

but sometimes I just don't know what I mean to them

My mother and father both are very proud of me and adore me. My siblings and I don't talk, except for my 16 year old little sister. She used to look up to me and still does, but she is going through "finding yourself" phase.

My in-laws feel I'm the best thing that has happened to them and they totally adore me too.

I am the family historian. Some of my family wishes that I would be a normal reasonable person who does not have fits of hysterics quite often. others love me and are concerned about me some are proud of me

I am guessing that my family sees me as the dumping grounds for all of their problems. Got a problem, unload it on her or blame it on her is what they probably say
