Do NOT put a doubler on your tv aerial, as FM frequencies run from 88mhz to 108mhz and TV signal runs from 400mhz upwards. Your TV aerial will NOT pick up lower frequencies than it is designed for (ie TV !!). You can buy an FM omnidirectional aerial from most suppliers like Maplins or TLC, and MW is easily picked up (though not many stations broadcast on it now) by using a small loop aerial indoors

These are two different aerials.

The FM aerial is basically a long bit of wire, which usually plugs into the centre connection of a Coaxial cable (like on a TV) connection. Takes about 3m of single core wire, bare one end and connect it (Whilst Stereo is off).

The MW Aeriel is usually based on a ferrite rod of some sort, best thing is to find a copy of the manual, and see what sort you need, and what connection as there are several sorts.

Once you have found out what you want, the manufacturer, local electronic gadget shop, or Maplin Electronics should be able to sort you.

You can get an FM antenna from several sources, including Radio Shack. Look on the back of your receiver and see what connection you need. It will be either a round threaded connection with a hole in the middle of it, or 2 screws side by side. A set of rabbit ears like for a television will work, but an outside antenna will work better and not clutter up the inside of your house.
