The age is not the question. Some people's wisdom teeth come in just fine. You'll need to have them removed if they are impacted--i.e. not growing straight down, thus pushing your other teeth forward. An x-ray at your dentist's office will determine whether your wisdom teeth are growing straight. Your dentist can refer you to an oral surgeon if you will need them removed.
Mine are growing in sideways and I need to have them removed as they can cause cavities in the adjacent molars. Other than that, they don't hurt at all.

I was 17 and I had all 4 pulled at the same time,I got some killer pain pills, but I was sore for days. I guess the age range varies depending on how quickly your wisdom teeth develop. Just go to the dentist, you'll know when it is time to have them pulled, it gets painful.

Usually between 17 and 25 is when you'd get them out if they need to come out.

You don't always need to have them out, and no there isn't a way to tell in advance.

WELL ABOUT 18 IS WHEN MOST PEOPLE GET THEM OUT.AND YOU'LL NEED THEM OUT IF THEY ARE GROWING IN AND MESSING WITH YOUR OTHER TEETH.MAKING THEM CROOKED AND MIS SHAPED.
