Stop being cheap and go to the salon or you'll end up looking like a rat!

You can buy "thinning shears" at any discount store. Just a few dollars.
Just twist about a 1/4 square section of hair and then "cut" it in two or three places with the shears. That is for short hair.
If your hair is long, I wouldn't even try to thin it cause it will be "flyaway." You can have it layered by wetting it thoroughly and cutting it with a razor. BE CAREFUL!

Getting a layered haircut will help with the thickness. DON'T try it at home...just go to the salon.

please don't try to do it yourself. Go to a professional and ask them to use a razor to cut your hair. using a razor, helps to thin out very thick hair...

i'd suggest you go to a professional and not do it yourself. cutting your own hair can turn out disasterous..its your hair and its there with you everyday so its really good to invest in it.
