Is anyone familiar with a clear hair glaze that you would put on your hair (at home) to add extreme shine. I think it may be done similar to a hair color application. Brand name and a location would help a lot. Thank you.

Well one of those glazes is called cellophane. It makes your hair super shiny and can improve the appearance of hair. Try Sally's!

You can find a location by going to http://www.sallybeauty.com

I know of a great at home product that I use about ever 2 weeks. Actually, I can suggest 2 different products. I use a product called "Infusion" that is for dry hair, aloe based and comes in powder form. You just add water to the amount you need and it mixes up clear. You simply pour it on your hair and let it set. This product is great for moisture and shine. Now, If you really want extreme shine I suggest a product called "Shimmer". All you do is add water to the amount of powder you need, mix and pour over hair. Same as the Infusion. I leave it on while I'm cleaning or watching a movie. It is very easy to apply and I found the longer I leave it on the better it works. There are about 4 or so applications per package and I order it on-line @ daubyncolor.com. I hope this helps :)

Yes. it works okay, but it does that same damage on your hair as dye. cause it is dye. just a clear dye. Youre better off getting a shine serum and a deep conditioner that reapirs hair. the shine dye only masks it. I wne to a slon and paid $25 for it and i couldnt see a big diff. john Freida didnt work for me. Waste of $$. But that wasnt a dye. that was just a glaze.

There are several, John Frieda, Nutress (sp?), Clairol. The one that has been used the most and for years is colorless henna.
