Hey guys...I'm from Southwest Louisiana and I need suggestions on where to take my bridal pictures...my photographer gave me ideas and I'm not all about them...any ideas?

if the photographer is good, all (s)he needs is some good lighting. it really doesn't matter where you are. (s)he should be able to get excellent shots just about anywhere.
and (s)he has probably taken photos a bazillion places. listen to the suggestions. :D

I don't live anywhere near there, but I do know that photographers suggestions are usually good ones. He knows how certain locations will appear at that particular time of day/season (for example, how the light will fall). You might want to drive to the different locations and take a closer look at them.

Go to one of the older Catholic Churches with the huge oak trees in which the weight the limbs cause them hang. So naturally pretty. You can take pictures outside and inside.

French Quarter for festive look.

Go to one of the older plantation homes/mansions.

Or go non-la, and just go to the park.
