Your husband could be loosng his hair due to a few different reasons. One could be that hair loss at an early age runs in his family (genetics), and there is nothing that can really be done about that. He could try Rogaine and things like that. It does help stop the hair loss a bit and some might grow back, but the hair that grows back isn't usually real good solid hair. Another could be stress. Many people experience hair loss when under a lot of stress. Also, it could be due to an underlying medical condition as well that is not showing any major symptoms yet. Do not panic and run to the Doctors yet though. Do some research on the internet about hair loss as a symptom, http://familydoctor.org/081.xml is a good place to start, and talk to him about what you read to see if there are any symptoms he has. My husband started loosing his hair at that same age due to it being hereditary in his family, so I have already been down the road of research. I hope I have helped you answer your question, and good luck and health to you and your husband.

My husband started losing his hair around age 21/22. Really, it's going to happen no matter what. One thing he can do to not hurry it or make it worse, is to make sure he shampoos daily. Some people think that it's good to not shampoo much, like leaving it alone will keep it up there, but all the excess oil and hair products that build up can actually cause the hair to fall out faster. There are extreme solutions, like hair transplants, but personally I think there are alot of men who look good bald. If it gets bad enough, just shave off the rest. Don't let him have a comb-over! Good luck ;)

I started losing some hair at age 20, although it wasn't visibily so yet. I used Nioxin, but the best thing is actually that cheap "Vive" shampoo for dry & damaged hair. I leave it on my head for 10 minutes every shower & it really makes a difference. If I go a few days w/o using it my hair will feel thinner.

I am a student working in the field of cosmetology, use nioxin. This stuff actually works!!
Hairloss is caused by clogged u0p pores. Nioxin cleans them out, so hair can grow again.
I got this for my dad, who is balding as a christmas gift. You can see little baby hairs growing in where he was balding.
If you do try nioxin, make sure he gives it time, its not something that will happen over night.
ABSOLUTELY never forget the treatment at the end though!!
Nioxin also has a nice minty smell Mmm.
If he has longer hair he should blow dry it, creates volume and hides his patches.
Hope I helped : )

You can try nioxin, its a professional hair shampoo system which can help at the early stages of thinning hair. It is expensive though so you might want to try the tea tree oil shampoos from paul mitchell or even generic tea tree oil. That can increase blood flow to the scalp, unclog hair follicles which will help the hair grow. But if he is losing his hair at 24 it is probably genetic, but the above named products can slow his hair loss.

I doubt soap will help. And unfortunately the
shampoos don't really work that well.I'm guessing someone else in his family is bald or thinning. This problem is usually hereditary. But if you really want a real solution I think you should
have him see his family doctor and he should ask what to do from there. His doc should be able to send him in the right direction.I hope this
will help.Good luck for both of you.

Shave it. Some people bald early. Its genetic and unavoidable. Most people make the mistake of trying to 'fix' balding with a hair cut that makes them look even more bald. Shaving it shows confidence in yourself. Caution- if he has an egg shaped head, my dad does, don't shave it, just deal with it. You end up looking like a conehead if your head is egg shaped.

STOP!!!!! Look at the guys who shave their heads. There are getting to be more and more of them.
I am even getting used to seeing them. I LIKE how that looks, and think how much simpler life would be for him.
Probably stress is causing it. Is he worried because YOU think it is such a tragedy?
Say, "Honey, you have such a handsome face, why don't we just get RID of all that hair!"
