There are rapes no matter what because rape is an act of violence, hate, power, and dominance, not sex, passion, or love.
If every person had a partner, we'd still have rape. It's a sick fact. For people that force others, they aren't doing it because they can't get it elsewhere. They probably can and do. It's something in them that makes them crave the power over another person. There are some that have control issues and deal with them in more acceptable way. Others can't or won't get the violence out of their system enough in other ways.
Even if you castrated them, they still find a way to abuse others. Maybe with objects instead of their bodies. As much as you'd think there is a way to stop this, there isn't. Many people who abuse others sexually, will abuse people non-sexually: mentally, verbally, or physically. It's something sick in their brain and/or upbringing that gives them the urge to have power over others.

Rape is not a crime of sex. It has nothing to do with sex. It is a control and power issue. Read about the psychology of rape on line. Very violent and degrading act.

Rape has nothing to do with sex. It's all about violence...violence channeled through genitalia basically. So, it doesn't matter how liberated society is, or acceptable sex is, violence is the key factor here...
