The "sons of God" are fallen angels.

Jude vs. 6 - And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

Job 4:18 - Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:

Job 1:6 - Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Genesis 6:1 "Now it came about, when men began to multiply on the face of land, and daughters were born to them, (2) that the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful; and took wives for themselves, whomever thay chose. (3) And God said." My spirit shall not strive with MAN forever..."

The sons of God were men, "mighty men who were of old, men of renown. GEN 6:4

They were men. These were the men (people) that God saw as evil, so he destroyed them. All but Noah and his family.

They are angels.
Also:
Job 2:1 Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them to present himself before the LORD.
Job 2:2 And the LORD said to Satan, "Where have you come from?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "From roaming about on the earth, and walking around on it."
WALKING AROUND ON THE EARTH---WOWSER---NOW THEY ARE IN THE PRESENCE OF THE LORD.

Sorry I got ahead of myself----

And again:
Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan also came among them.
Job 1:7 And the LORD said to Satan, "From where do you come?" Then Satan answered the LORD and said, "From roaming about on the earth and walking

Don't get too wrapped up in "sons" and "daughters." Daughters represent affections and Sons represent truths. It is just the law of correspondences or how to interpret parables.
