Why do I meet so many people in the mosque that use to be christians?

Well to explain the whole story would require a long essay but to keep it short , I would say thet these people had understand the core foundation of the religion of Islam instead of the Barbaric terrorist that it was portrayed by the Media. If you would do some research on the Net you would have the answers to your question. Suggestions; You Tube did portayed clips on Issues of Islam and interviews on convertors to Islam. Understanding of the various other religions would also be wise. This provides you with a greater understanding as to people's choice of religion.

They're probably planted there and told to pretend that they used to be Christians. Christian churches do it with so-called 'ex-atheists' too. They've probably started planting 'ex-Muslims' too. Changing faith is not all that common, really.

People are always in search of truth. As you may have observed Christians converting into Islam, there are also Muslims who get out to join other religion. It is good for anyone who would find what he is looking for and where he thinks he will be in better place.
It does not neccessarily mean that one religion is good and other is bad. I am sure it is an individual's choice.

They were never Christians in the first place. No true Christian would apostate for Islam. Many people call themselves Christians who are not. You can call yourself anything you want, but that does not make it so. God knows the heart of every person on earth---whether they believe in Jesus Christ or whether they are pretenders. On judgment day he will sort out the sheep from the goats. The sheep will inherit the kingdom of heaven, while the goats will burn in hell.

I would say a church or churches in your area are really letting people down big time.

You do realize of course that pretty much all Americans Identify themselves as from a Christian origin, so if they are Americans then they would say former Christian. Even thought they may never OR seldom ever darken the door of a church.
