I did that. And a lot more. Unfortunately Satan turned into my first wife (now ex). Yeah, she may have been starved for affection, but she sure isn't starved for cash now.

Caliwillsink,
What a wonderful thought, I commend you. I have actually prayed for Lucifer. Satan is not his name. Satan is the hebrew word for "enemy". His name is Lucifer, and he is one of God's most beautiful creations. Unfortunately, he is lost in his ego right now, and may never recover. There is always a danger that if we have too many gifts, we may start to think that maybe WE are God. If you could truly see the power, and nature of our Creator, in ALL of His glory, you would understand why neither Lucifer, or anyone else, can take His place. Lucifer, however, is blinded by his own self-worship. He has decided that he should take God's place. He honestly believes that he could do a better job. My advice to him, is that if he thinks he is God, he should go out and create his own universe, not try to steal someone else's. I fear that he is so deluded with ego, that he is beyond all help. He has become blind, and deaf, to the Truth. All Wisdom had fled from him. He has resisted all efforts to convince him of his folly, and his natural love, has grown cold. He has gone from the very heights of Heaven, to being the lowest and most miserable of creatures. I actually pity him in a certain way. He has lost so much, and gained virtually nothing. He has however, served God, even in his folly. After the judgment, God will know exactly who loves Him, and who does not, because of who they followed. If you have not recieved God's Spirit into your heart, you are by default, a child of the enemy.

The Bible says to Love your enemies, not the devil. Read the Bible. Satan is the father of all sinners. But through the blood of Christ, your sins may be forgiven, and you will become a child of God.

The Bible makes no pretenses concerning what Satan is all about. He doesn't want hugs, and I don't think you need to be at all concerned about what he is starved for- but more concerned about what God wants you to do. But it's cute that you want to melt away Satan's evilness with a hug, anyway.

The Christian thing is to love our enemies who are HUMAN. Satan is a fallen angel, he is forever cursed and can obtain no forgiveness so it is ok to want to kick him in the nards.

Satan refused God's love. He is not interested in hugs...he only wants those souls that refuse to follow our creator.

Satan get all the attention he needs from himself. Anyone who is that much into himself doesn't need any hugs from me.

Nope sorry He is not our human enemy. We don't have to love or hug Him. We don't even have to concern ourselves with Him. He looses in the end.
