Is real celibacy before marriage actually possible?

i actually dont know i think that because we are human and sin that the thoughts will be there so i guess no not really. but celibacy of the body is up to us and weither we act on the impure thoughts

Theoretically possible, but I can't imagine anyone having that much willpower. All their time would be spent smacking themselves in the head for having impure thoughts, especially during puberty!

One can but try. Although I confess, I have no idea why one would want to!

Jesus said, "As a man thinks in his heart, so is he." Therefore, if the heart is pure, the body will follow.

It is very possible to be celibate in your actions, but in your heart...thats a bit more difficult.
