Every magazine I've ever read says this is one of the worst things you can do. Here are the reasons:
1) Overuse injuries. You may not have it now, but you will sooner or later.
2) You aren't allowing your muscles to recooperate. In the gym, you should be breaking down the muscle. When you leave the gym, the rebuilding process starts. This process takes a good 48 hours to complete. If you keep working the same muscle day in and day out, your recovery and hence your growth will be limited. Remember: your muscles grow outside the gym, not at the gym.
You should definitely hit different muscle groups and give at least every bodypart 48 hours of rest before hitting it again. Generally, I hit the same body part every 5 days, that way they are totally ready to go.
You may find it useful to pick up a copy of Men's Fitness or Muscle and Fitness magazine and educate yourself about bodybuilding / weight lifting.
There are only a few muscles you can work nearly every day and that includes: cardio, abs and calves. The rest, though really should have at least 48 hours of rest.
Good luck.

NO you aren't giving your muscles 24 hours. If you do your workout at say 9 am, end at 10 am, on the next day to you start at 10 am?
You would be better off to let your muscles rest every other day. Do some other workout exercises or try swimming or power walking. This type of exercise gives you a cardio workout and uses muscles.

No. Work two different sets of muscle groups a day. You should only have four days in the gym for weight training. You HAVE to give your muscles a chance to heal.
If you want to be in the gym all week, you can do cardio every other day, but do not work the same muscle groups all week long.
Do chest and triceps on Monday, upper back and biceps on Tuesdays, legs and lower back on Thursdays, and shoulders and forearms on Fridays. That will give you three days off to do cardio if you want, and will give those muscles a chance to heal.
You can, however, do something for your abs every day that you go in. I think that's okay.

Traditional wisdom says that body-builders should work out every other day. Maybe you might try something like this and get the best of both worlds.
Work hard every other day, and on easy days, stretch & flexibility exercises, and maybe go thru the motions with half the normal weights you would use. This would let you concentrate of perfect form and function rather than more and more weight.

Yes, 24 hours of rest is usually enough time for muscles to relax and repair broken tissues. but that is the absolute minimum. Also, if you're doing a very intense workout, you should give more than just a day of rest.

The key is to do stretches before and after you exercise to warm up and cool down. Try that.
PS: If you work on one group of muscles too long, you may go blind! LOL

I would advise cutting back your weight training to every other day. Make sure you are working your total body and be sure to include cardiovascualr workouts in your routine. Perhaps you could alternate weight training and cardiovascualr. A healthy, strong body is one that is well-balanced, inside and out.
