I have a 2 1/2 year old neutered male Bengal named Loki. He is a TICA registered SBT F4, four generations removed from his wild ancestor - The Asian Leopard Cat. He was the runt of the litter, picked on, and had a very mild heart murmur (which he outgrew). He is, barring daily walks, an indoor kitty, with ALL his claws, thank you very much. He barks when he sees something that excites him, and has no problem travelling. I take some of his toys, so there are things with his scent and my scent on them in the new place, so he's cool with it.
Like most Bengals, he likes a lot of interactive play with his people. He plays fetch, likes water , is highly intelligent and affectionate.
A Bengal is not a cat for everyone. Not for households with small children or where the person is gone most of the time. If you like knicknacks, not the cat for you. If you like wall tapestries or anime scrolls or anything on the wall, not the cat for you. If it can be moved, a Bengal will move it. They are very active and athletic. Loki can jump from the floor to the top of the bookcase, about six feet.
He resembles his wild ancestor with spots and stripes on his legs. He's a beautiful creature.
For those wishing to leash and harness train your cat, a walking jacket works better than traditional strap harnesses and is available here http://www.metpet.com/

His name is Murphy. My brother found him outside of a Blockbuster in the middle of winter and brought him home. We waited week to hear from the SPCA to see if anybody had lost a grey kitty, but nobody called, so he became ours!
He's all grey with pretty green eyes. He's the most affectionate cat we've ever known- demands to be petted, will follow me around the house meowing until I pay attention to him, and he wanders the house meowing until I come home from work every day.

We have 11 but I will tell you about Bugsy. He is part Siamese and was a hard core feral cat when we got him. It took almost 2 years to win him over but now he is a big sap sitting on any lap that is using the computer, sleeping on any head available at night and just a really nice sweet cat.

Wilbur Norton was sprung from the hoosegow, the big house, where he had been wrongly imprisoned for two weeks.
All appeals had failed and come the following Monday he was going to walkin the Green Mile.
Luckily, for Wilbur Norton, Turtle Girl had declared herself sufficiently over her bereavement from Tobi and showed up at the pound that day, cat carrier, in car.

Star: fat, likes to be brushed, only goes outside in summer, friendly to everyone, lazy.
Mandy: normal size, hates to be brushed, goes outside year-round, only likes me, goes on walks with the dog and me.
Both are 5 years old, but Mandy is 5 months older than Star.
