if u want to do dreads it's simple, even with short hair. Go to one of those salons that specialize in locks, they can braid your hair small so that your hair can grow faster, after about 1 inch of growth u can go to a dread-lock specialist who will lock ur hair at the roots so that every three or so months u go and get ur roots done and u'll have those nice, neat, clean locks when ur hair starts to really grow.

i use to have dread locks, and you cant them grow because its al ready growing really fast and its very healthy becuase to grow natural dreads you dont do anything to your hair you dont brush straighten it or anything just leave it alone it will grow really long, gaurenteed.

If it is lone enough to put in braids, I would suggest leaving them in braids. Your hair will grow much faster.
