I think age is not what determines a good time to start a family. I think money, your relationship statues, your home life those are the things that matter in raising a good family.

I wouldn't say that any specific age can determine when YOU are ready to start a family. I would say wait until you are emotionally prepared, and know for certain you want to spend the rest of your life with this person. You are certainly at an age that I would think you are mature enough for a family, but if you still have major goals to complete, like finishing college or seeing part of the world, do it first!!Time and money run out quickly when you have kids (but they are more than worth it!) Good Luck,

i think you both are at the perfect age to start a family ....you don't want to wait too long cause as you age it gets harder to deal with kids...i had my first at the age of 24...then another at the age of 29....then...oops I had another at the age of 36 and then another at the age of 38 believe me...the first two were easier to deal with the second two got a little more difficult because I was sooooo tired all the time...i'm now 47 with a 9 yr old and an 11 yr old I wouldn't change them for the world but it does get rather difficult as you grow older...hope this helps : )

Since your not a teenager anymore, I think now it's not about an age but is about what you can offer to your family. It's about being financially stable, mentally ready to handle the new adjustments, and mature to face the dynamic experiences that will occur.

30 for males and 25 to 30 females so if you'll get pregnant above 30 is high risk for a woman's age.

that's a good age.. the younger you are.. the healthier your kids will end up being when they come out the womb
although the best age is when you're mature and financially stable enough to take care of one.. common sense
i'd say late 20's and early 30's is the best age
i'm 28 and still not ready for kids.. i'm too busy being a kid myself =)

If you are reasonably secure, financially and as a couple(maried happily) you are at a good age.
I waited until I was 35 and my wife was 30. In retrospect, I would have started about 5 years earlier.

I say 30 but, also If you are married or not wait till you have both been living together for at least 5 yrs with alot of babysitting practice. This will tell you for sure if you really want kids and if you want to have them with this person.

If you've finished your education, are stable in your careers, and have a nice nest egg saved up, now is a good age. Otherwise, wait a few years and get those things in order.
