One vote here for immigrating to Canada. I am American and I have immigrated to Canada and I love it.

As for statistics...

In 2005 21,878 Canadians became permanent residents in the US.

According to the

In 2004 7,494 Americans became permanent residents in Canada.

I think now that there are more people than ever moving to Canada from the US. Especially when you are thinking of raiing children and starting a family.

Don't know. It has never been a big thing with the northern border. Should be the 9/11 hijackers came from the north.
