I would definitly go in for the interview, but I would not be surprised if they came up with an excuse for not hiring you. I tried to get a job while pregnant, and every single job applied for I was more than qualified and every single one gave me a lame excuse about why i wasn't hired. After I gave birth I applied again and got 5 job offers. Every company is different though, so it would not hurt to try. Good luck!

don't bring it up in interview and they CANNOT bring it up. so, the only thing to worry about is that they will realize you are pregnant (are you showing?) and not hire you for "other" reasons. it's cruddy, but it happens. now, they may end up hiring you anyway and that would be great!
also, be sure to be honest about any physical qualifications for the job. for example:
you have to be able to lift 50 pounds consistently.
well, pregnant women should only lift up to 25 pounds, so you have to tell them that you cannot fulfill that job requirement. this is the moment where you can bring up the pregnancy, or you can just tell them that you are under dr direction for the next 3-4 months and are only allowed to lift 25 pounds.
i would go to the interview and see what happens! if you have an interview set up then you should always keep the interview.
just keep in mind that if they hire you, they don't have to keep you. there won't be any protection of your job once you deliver. FMLA only applies if the company is over 50 employees and you've been there at least 1 year.
good luck and take care.

I tried getting a job while I was pregnant, and it seemed that I was turned down for every interview because I was pregnant. Though no employer can discriminate or even ask if your pregnant during an interview, but when it comes down to it they know they'll be without you for 6 weeks when they can hire someone else who isn't pregnant. I would bring it up to them when you call to schedule an interview, if you've been wanting this job, maybe they'll work with you, but at least they'll know you're up front and honest.

I would go ahead and go to the interview. There is no harm done for trying. And since you are 6 months preggo, I am sure they can tell by looking at you. But FYI, by law you don't have to tell them you are pregnant. And if a company fires you or tells you they can't hire you because of you being pregnant, that is discrimination. Big law suite. Good luck, and I hope you get the job.

Well, if you're due in december, I'm guessing you're probably showing already. And you do not need to address the issue during the interview stage, because it's irrelevant. If they address it with you, you can file charges because it's illegal to discriminate based on you being pregnant.
Only address the issue once you're hired. And go ahead and go for the better job.

Try for the job, go to an interview. I have gotten hired while pregant it's not like the pregancy makes you work less. You can bring up the issue at the interview but be prepared to let them know how long you will miss while out on materity leave.

be up front because either way they'll find out. If ya not showing alot yet it won't be long. But warning though people aren't suppose to deny you a job because you are pregnant many will. They'll find other reasons trust I was in your shoes. Good Luck.

You really should tell them. If you switch jobs now you will not be eligible for FMLA, because you have to be employed for at least 12 months in order to be covered. How many people are in your household? You may qualify for WIC if you fall under the guidelines. Go to www.ask.com and enter the question "WIC guidelines for the state of_____________" and enter your state and it will take you to their website. It will give you vouchers for dairy, cereal, eggs, juice, etc. And starting next year they will be adding whole grains and fresh fruit to the vouchers.
