I was just wondering my ex broke up with me 3 months ago and I haven't seen him since school go out. Then started dating someone 3 hours away and 2 years younger. He was my first boyfriend & I was just wondering if guys usually regret breaking up with their girlfriends? Do you think once he has to see my everyday at school that he might start missing me again?

We dated for 2 years and he broke up with me because he wanted to be single. But when he broke up with me he said maybe when school started we would get back together. But that was before he started dating the other girl.

It may feel like that, but usually when someone breaks up with someone else, there is a good reason. Usually that reason is that the two people in the relationship do not click. I would not worry so much about him mssing you once he sees you at school, if it is meant to be, it will be and if not, there are so many other guys out there, you should not just worry about one. Believe me, you are young and you will have plenty of dating experiences throughout your life, no reason to worry about one that has already happened.

You know, it depends on the situation of the break-up, why he broke up, and if he has any maturity level to him....

Here's the deal... If he broke up with you for a stupid reason, and didn't think it through.... and had the maturity to realize his mistake... Then he probably allready is missing you, and will continue to do as such when he sees you....

But, the likelyness that a "normal" guys (or even a woman for that matter) thinks through their reasons for break up and the consequences enugh to realize that they were in the wrong, is unlikely... and rare... So, don't be too optimistic about it... but be hopefully that he might still want to be friends...

he might. some guys regret breaking up with their girlfriends, and with me, there's at least a tiny bit of regret for what might have been, but now, i don't regret breaking up with my ex at all. she was loud, obnoxious, grating and abusive. naturally, i had to get out to protect myself. in any case, the fact that he's dating someone so immature might lead him to miss you more when you get back to school, or it might simply cause him to look at other girls his age. i suppose the answer would depend on the circumstances in which you broke up. Did you dump him? He dump you? was it nasty? did you do something? did he? did he just want to see someone else? it all depends on those questions. if he just wanted to see other people, he could easily come back, just as if he learned from a mistake. i think its likely he could miss you, but ultimately, you're in control of whether or not you get back together.
