pig meat not properly cooked still makes people sick. Christ dying on the cross cleanses us of our sins.

Ibredd,
"did Christ dying on the cross make this meat any safer."
He made it nothing in particular. Safer in the life of faith. It is meat. Cooked properly, that makes it safer. But if someone chooses not to eat it because it is concerned unclean, to them it is unclean. To those that like pork, it is food.

So the meat itself is as safe as it was before. Nothing physically changed about pork before or after the crucifixion.

Romans 6:14: "for ye are not under the law, but under grace."

Christ by his death and resurrection fulfilled the demands of the Old Testament Law or Torah. Christians are therefore no longer under the Law but under Grace that comes through Christ.

Swine or hog meat is safe if the swine is free from all diseases.

Not really. But Christians have been celebrating Easter by eating ham for a long time.

The spiritual penalty for not eating kosher was removed by the Cross, but that didn't remove the sanitary situation.

We are enjoined to keep our bodies healthy because they temples of the Spirit.

Yeah, He said in the New Testament that no one should see God's animals as unclean. So we can eat pork...it's just the Jewsih who can't because they go by the Old Testament!!

down so they are more ""spiritual""

Jewish people abstain because of TRADITION.

PRIMITIVES like moon worshipers do it because THEY AREA AFRAID of their demon god.
