Yes, make sure you reassess your diet plans.

Basically, the more you weigh, the more food you need to maintain your weight. If you drop weight, your requirements for food go down.

While you may have had success, say at 1750 calories / per day, your body's requirements are now, say a 100 calories less than what it was.

So you'll either have to drop a few more calories (don't make it go too low, otherwise you'll stall your metabolism) or up your activity level.

Use a program such as http://www.fitday.com (it's free) to determine your caloric needs and track your intake and exercise routines.

Also be patient with your results. Sometimes the body just stalls a bit. Also, you could've gained muscle if you've been working out, which is a good thing.

Good luck.

My Plateau has now lasted about 10 years. Oh Yeah! That's because I stopped dieting and decided to just stay fat. :) All right seriously. If it's been 2.5 weeks that's not a plateau, (they only last about a week) that's a balance. Time to try some new things on your diet. Look into a book or web sight on nutrition and exercise for fresh ideas/ advise.

If there is no change after two weeks, its usually time to re-assess. Maybe alter something slightly just to kick start your diet again. All the best
