Next, I would recommend checking with your local volunteer center and send them a copy of the position description.

I would also look at recruiting by speaking to various social organizations, churches, etc. outlining what you need and when you need it. Following this, ask people you've spoken directly to to help you. Amazing how people respond when you just ask.

Place ads in local papers, or do fliers and put them up in businesses. My mom runs a non-profit, so she usually will put fliers up about the programs she runs and then people will call about jobs. She makes them volunteer for a quarter before she will even consider hiring them, and just because they volunteer doesn't mean they will get a job. She makes it clear that it is just a volunteer position. Word of mouth is good too. Just get it out to the public and people will come! My mom usually has more people that want to volunteer then she has spots for them.

For me, charity beings at domicile. First, I take care of my needs. Then, I see what i'll do to help people in my united states.
