Well, I liked the play, both back when I was studying it (although I think Twelfth Night is, so far, my favourite) and now. There's just so much pith in it. But then, with both my mother and stepfather actors, I basically grew up on plays, of every sort and description, and I can appreciate mastery.

The play that did rock me up, when I was studying it at school, was Hamlet, though. I did not much care for the plot, but the words really shook me up. I remember regretting we had to write so little on it, I could have written that much for each scene...

No - He wrote for the common people of England in his day. His plays are filled with sexual suggestions and toilet humor. A superficial reading of a corrected version does not give you any appreciation of his humor. The problem is that it is almost impossible to enjoy any work that one is required to read. This is why our school system turns out so many people who hate books. No one enjoys something that they are forced to do.

Writeres express his feelings on a piece of paper and at that time can not think of this type petty things like who will read it , or it will be published or not. The person who thinks of this type things is not a good writer.
