Depending on the room temperature. If you have a cool house I would say 2-3 hours,if no a/c in the house,no longer than an hour.If the chicken is not completely cooked, look for redness near the bone.If you have some and its been out for a while thats where the bacteria will grow.Hope this helped.

Bacteria grows at temperatures between 39 and 140 degrees. If you left the chicken out and it doesnt smeel bad, bring it up to 141 degrees before you eat it. If you left it out overnight, toss it and take the loss.

It depends on the temperature. The rule is usually two hours, and
if your taking cold chicken on a picnic on a day over 75 degrees, then like and hour, hour and a half max. Better afe then sorry, so stick it in the fridge!

It is a good idea that cooked chicken once cold should be
placed in the fridge and consumed within a couple of days.
to avoid the risk of food poisoning .

I would say no more than an hour if out side inside maybe a little longer but not much. Poultry has a low tolerance for bacteria growth. So be carefull.

You should not let chicken hit room temperature, it will go bad at that point, and then you stand the chance of getting salmonella.

ASAP. Put all food in the fridge as soon as your done. The longer it stays out, the faster the bacteria will grow.
