Hon, I totally agree with you. But understand that it's a big part of a Christian's spirituality to think they own the world. Blessed be.

What Christians said that they did own spirituality and religion? Those are not anything to be owned anyway. I don't understand where you get this from. But, this is an open forum if people want to talk about their religion then that's their right. If you don't like the question don't click on it or answer it. Simple as that. Yeah, we know there are a lot of ways to be spiritual but this is some people's chosen method...so what's the problem. Are they just suppose to try another method just to make you and "many others" happy. I think not, we serve God not man. So ignore it just like I ignore questions on here I don't like.

I am a Christian and have asked about two questions here and answered quite a few. It seems like many of the questions are directed towards Christians, so personally I answer those that I believe I can give a good answer to. I'm definitely aware that this category is not just for Christians.

No argument there. In my experience, christians are the least spiritual people around. Their main focus seem to be telling others how to live and sleeping in church, with very little understanding of god, their own religion, the bible, or spirituality. Christians, for the most part, are not spiritual, they are scared followers who don't have the mental capacity to be spiritual. Using the bible as a sledgehammer and pointing fingers is not spirituality. Nuff said.

There are many ways, but only one God. And logic would say that God (no matter which one is the true one, whether it be Jehovah, Jesus, Allah, or any other of a myriad of Gods out there) has a specific preference of what his commands are and how we follow them. And not all religions teach the same commandments, so we must be sure to find the right one so that we serve God how He wants us to serve Him, not how We want to serve Him.
However, your attack is leveled at Christians and Lord knows they deserve it (even if it turns out they picked the right God). I'm not saying that they have the right God for sure or not, that is for each person to decide for themselves if they will follow the Christian God or not and which God (or no god) they will follow. But Christians on this site attack others for believing in anything but Jesus and yet provide no logical reasons to follow Jesus. The Christian faith has a lot of reasoning behind it, but so does the Jewish faith, the Muslim faith, the Buddhist faith and nearly every faith out there has reasoning behind it, as does atheism and agnosticism. People of all faiths should be learning what they can about all religions, sharing what they know of their own so that we can all have all the information available so that we can make the right decision and find the true God (no matter who He is) which is the loving way that all religions teach (but don't always follow).

I'm a Christian And believe whole hartedly that everyone is entitled to worship. I also believe there is a direct connection between Christianity and many religions. Many have been perverted in the way that they worship.
God will decide who is right. and who is mis-guided

A large portion of the USA is Christian compared to other religions, and thus a large portion of the people on this site will have Christian views. So therefore, .......
Or are you against freedom of speech?
Or are you against the free expression of religion?
Or are you prejudiced against Christians?

If people don't want to hear from Christians, all they have to do is write "to Buddhists" or "to Catholics" but when it's an open question, I think everyone has the right to answer it. And I don't rememeber anyone Christian saying that we own spirituallity or religion. And it's very wise to speak for yourself...just some advice. have a great day!

Yes, duh, we do know that! So why doesn't Yahoo give us a
seperate catagory under Bible or Christian?
Of course, the dopey atheists on here would just follow us over
there, too.
>"Now go and sin against your fellow man no more!"
Comment: This 'quotation' makes no sense, since it's a transliteration of a Bible verse, and you just told us you're NOT a
Christian.
Bottom line: If Christianity is not true, there is NO SUCH THING
as sin, so why do you use the quote-that's illogical and irrational!

I've never seen anyone say that Christians did own spirituality or religion. I do however see daily Christian bashing here.
