Truth has no different meanings with change of faith from Islam to Judaism, or to Christianity , or to any other organised religions of the world. Truth is one but paths are different. God is one but people call it by different names. The truth of Islam among others is that it will survive for 1400 years from the date Hegira was counted, as told by the prophet. Will it be over by 2011 A.D. if the present trend is any indicator?

About as much as Christianity.
Or Nostradamus.
Or anything else that happened in the past. Some statements can be right, and some can be wrong. How many Islamic claims are right, and how many are wrong? Could there have been some lucky guesses?
What would convince me? Well, Allah would have to share his existence with me. If Allah were to exist and relies only on an illiterate prophet, then he's not worth my worship, is he?

Amazing..... The persons commenting on the Quranic verses r not ordinary peolple. They have spent their whole life in their respective fields. Quran is 100% truth. I think that Islam is the completion of all religions. That's why number of people converting to Islam r much much more than other religions.

Reflection upon one's own creation alone would make a person realize Allah's favours on him. It will eventually make him conscious of the necessity of making serious effort to show devotion to his Creator. Initially, he was nothing; then, he began life as a single cell invisible to the naked eye. This cell divided billions of times, and gradually grew into a man with all his organs intact. More importantly, this being acquired life, a soul, though he had been nothing. A drop of sperm developed into a lump, and then into a being, able to enjoy the faculties of thinking and speaking. It is His Lord Who created him from nothing. However, some people come to forget their creation, making paltry excuses, and dare to deny Him.
He makes likenesses of Us and forgets his own creation, saying, "Who will give life to bones when they are decayed?" Say "He Who made them in the first place will bring them back to life. He has total knowledge of each created thing." (Surah Ya Sin: 78-79)

It's 13 people, trying to be polite.
Why would they change my beliefs about 'the truth of Islam'? All they're saying is that some of the vaguely-written passages in the Qur'an appear to correspond more-or-less with scientific knowledge.
What, I should believe in God now?

Changes in the koran/quran that you say did not happen:
http://answering-islam.org/Quran/Text/index.html
Original sin- How can you believe that man is anywhere worthy of going to Heaven simply by being a human being and God's infinite power to forgive sin? Of course God can forgive all sin, there is no question in that. He made man perfect, and man fell from grace by sinning. Adam turned his back on God, and you expect God to simply just forgive? Man CHOSE to sin and continues to CHOOSE to sin. That being the case, God made it where we can CHOOSE to either continue being a sinner or to accept salvation. No-one is worthy of gaining access to Heaven except through the cleansing blood of Jesus.
Atonement- Adam asked forgiveness and it was so? No-one disputes that, no-one disputes that anyone can be forgiven of sin, the problem is that God and Heaven are perfection. There is no room for anything short of perfection. We can be forgiven, but that means we have sinned, which right there makes us imperfect. On Judgement Day, even if you prayed for forgiveness as you die and are forgiven, you are still imperfect because although you are forgiven of sin, you are imperfect in God's eyes because you HAVE sinned. To be perfect, you would have to have NEVER sinned. On Judgement Day, those that are saved will be washed with the pure blood of Jesus, and that is what will be seen, that perfect blood of Jesus. It is one thing to be forgiven, it is something totally different to be made perfect in the eyes of God to gain admittance to Heaven.
