Stretch marks may fade a little, but they don't vanish completely. Get you some of the stretch mark cream that you can pick up in just about any pharmacy/store like CVS or Eckerds. That helped me after my first son, (I gained 70 pounds with him, lol). Good Luck!

after birth, your stretch marks will be a bright red and will gradually fade into a paler version of your skin tone. they won't ever be completely gone, because they are torn fibers deep in your skin layers.

it will help if you keep them out of the sun for about a year, and here is a natural recipe for preventing them:

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
1/4 cup aloe vera gel
liquid from 6 capsules vitamin E
liquid from 4 capsules vitamin A

mix in blender
pour in jar and refrigerate
apply once a day- every day- to the areas they commonly appear
(belly, hips, thighs).

I don't know if they ever really go away. I got a TON of them 5 years ago! with my twins. They do get lighter, but they will never be gone (at least they haven't for me). It's just one of those 'mommy marks' some people get. Try to accept them...or maybe there's something that can be done with laser's now to make them better..

It depends on how bad your stretch marks are. I got them really bad and I had my baby 9 years ago and you can still see them. They are no longer all red and gross, they are kind of skin colour but you can see them

I hate to tell you this sweetie, but sometimes they don't. Make sure you are using some vitamin E on your belly and that will usually help some.
