there is this boy that wants to go with me but he's not my type or whatever. we've been been friends for a while we got introduced by his cousin (his cousin is my ex) so me and the boy was always friends and now he's trying to get with me and i told him i dont date inside peoples family but he says he dont care about that. how can i tell him that i dont want to be with him without hurting his feelings??

Sweetie, if can't take the hint, then there is no way not to hurt his feelings. Are you sure you gave this alot of thought? You sure this is something that could work for you? If you are positive that this guy isn't for you, then you are just going to have to tell him. You would think that "you don't within a family" would have told him. You don't want to lie to him, because one lie always lead to another. Tell him honestly that you just don't have those kind-of-a feelings for him, and he should be looking for a girl who would be crazy for him. Your not dating within a family is very smart, I wished I had been smarter enough to had known that when I was dating, because I might still be talking to one family! lol Maybe this guy meet Mrs. Right while you were typing this, and you don't have to break his heart after all. Truth, may hurt his feelings, but it's the best way.....God bless us all......

Be straight and up front with him. Tell him that you are not interested in him at all, he is your ex's cousin and you choose to have good morals. If he persists , tell your ex and ask him to talk to the guy.

Just keep telling him til he gets the point, he will eventually bcuz he has no choice, and him being a friend how could he put you in that position in the first place, how selfish and disloyal of him. Im glad your sticking to you gunz....dont do it.

Tell him you stand on your point of not dating inside your ex's family, period. If he's a nice guy he'll understand, if not then tell him if he can't respect your thoughts then you wouldn't date him anyways.

tell him that you like him as a friend and still be friends with him. it still might hurt him a little but it wont hurt him as much that way.
