The third temple is a spiritual thing...
It is a temple in heaven, therefor it won't be built on earth Jerusalem but in heaven's Jerusalem.

The Muslim Mosque "Dome of the Rock" was built on the Jewish Temple Mount, sight of the original Temple. Until it is removed, there can be no Temple rebuilt.
Speculations include: God will remove it through an earthquake, or a stray missile from terrorists will bring it down and blamed on Israel, OR a shocking new possibility for the Mount to be shared as a compromise.
Time will tell. However - the Prophet Daniel states that the Antichrist comes from the Mosque (abominable temple) in Daniel 9:27. I propose one possiblity that this Antichrist will make the decision to either surrender the Temple Mount or declare it to be shared - allowing Jews to build a temple next to the Dome of the Rock.
Only time will tell. This Antichrist will most likely take on the guise the the Muslims awaited "Mahdi" - the equivalent to we Christian's messiah.

construction a third Temple could in all threat be left for the Messiah to end, except you're employing for the job. in accordance to the Prophets the Messiah will collect the diaspora in Jerusalem. build the Temple, and etc. do no longer ignore that in the process this time all forms of unsightly issues are expected to ensue. The 4 horsemen, the anti-christ, and etc. there are such various whackos working around unfastened immediately, i'm constructive the international will bypass by using each and each of the unpleasantness expected, wheather the Messiah is in touch interior the construction project or no longer. construction the third Temple is a undesirable concept. except, as some religions do, you're waiting with baited breath for each and each of the failures that are expected for the "end of days."

My husband said they have the blueprints ready... not sure why it's not started yet. Crazy enough, part of the temple will have to be left out because of the Dome of the Rock.... and the book of Revelation says that part of the temple will be left out (Rev. 11:2) This is all very interesting to read up on. All the non Bible-believing people should start getting a little worried...

The Temple will not be built until the body of Christ is taken off the earth. 1.On the earth, God deals with Nation of Israel as prophesied. This period of time last for seven years and is referred to as Daniel’s 70th week, Jacob’s trouble, and the great tribulation period. Daniel 9:24 Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
The antichrist rides in on a white horse and when he gives Israel what they want. Then they believe that he is their Messiah. Revelation 6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. He gives the Nation: (1) Money: Daniel 11: 24 He shall enter peaceably even upon the fattest places of the province; and he shall do that which his fathers have not done, nor his fathers' fathers; he shall scatter among them the prey, and spoil, and riches: yea, and he shall forecast his devices against the strong holds, even for a time. (2) Protection: Daniel 11: 25 And he shall stir up his power and his courage against the king of the south with a great army; and the king of the south shall be stirred up to battle with a very great and mighty army; but he shall not stand: for they shall forecast devices against him. (3) Builds them a temple: Daniel 8:11 Yea, he magnified himself even to the prince of the host, and by him the daily sacrifice was taken away, and the place of the sanctuary was cast down. The first sacrifice in the new temple is not made until 220 days into the seven year tribulation period (7x360=2520 days minus 2300 days when the sanctuary will be cleansed which equals 220 days); Daniel 8:14 And he said unto me, Unto two thousand and three hundred days; then shall the sanctuary be cleansed.

I believe the temple will be built after the peace treaty is signed with the anti-Christ. During 3 and l/2 years of peace, at that time the anti-Christ betrays Israel. I am not a bible scholar however, just my feelings.
