I want to fit everything onto a single page for my resume. Although there is enough space on a single page, Word insists on adding a second page that is completely blank, but I can't delete that page. I don't want to post my resume with a blank page. What is going on?

The first thing I obviously tried was backspacing at the beginning of the second page. That doesn't work. I know I can print just the first page, but I want it to fit on a single page so I can POST MY RESUME as a single page. It looks better that way. I've also tried copying and pasting it onto a new document but it does the exact same thing. It allows me to type another line at the bottom of the page, meaning there is enough space, but still puts the second page in. Even if I delete a line in the first page to make more room the blank page is still there. I can delete 2 or 3 lines and the problem is solved, but I need all the information on there.

Go to print preview (the page/magnifying glass icon) and look for the shrink to fit icon. That should help you

If you can't delete that page, when you go to print, only print the page number that you typed on. I frequently have this problem, especially when I am at school, because the lady is really mean when we use blank paper because she'll have to reload it. lol. Okay, well, send me a message if you can't figure it out still.

If u want to take a print out on an A4 paper, then it is better to increase the margin(it can be found on the rulers.)
OR
If u don't want to take a printout, then goto File->Page Setup->Page size and increase the page height.

Have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
