If she really does not have any weight to lose (or less than 5 pounds), Weight Watchers will not take her. Actually, it might be good for her to go to a meeting, get weighed, and have them tell her that she can't join because she is already at a good weight. Maybe she would listen if they turned her away from WW.

Weight Watchers is a good program to teach healthier eating habits, change behaviors. I look at diet, not as something you go on. Diet is the way you eat and live in your life.
If your friend is at an appropriate weight , it is not healthy to force the body to lose more. You may want to suggest to her exercise for toning and muscle building. Be supportive of your friend, but guide her in a direction that would be healthy, and constructive , not destructive.

Never judge a book by its cover - she maybe skinny, but maybe she does not have good eating habits and wants to improve them - maybe her doctor recommended it for her overall health/cholesterol levels or she might have a high BMI for her height and weight - you never know - at least she will be with a great support system, and from what I have heard, Weight Watchers is an excellent program.

She'll probably get there and suffer verbal abuse from people who are overweight and are trying to become healthy. She may quit after one or two meetings.

On the other hand, weight watchers is a healthy way to lose weight and learn how to eat healthily, so it might be good for her overall health.

She must be an anorexic who thinks it is beauty to look like a starving victim of a prison camp. If she wants to look like a skin and bones skeleton then there is something seriously wrong upstairs.

If it were up to me, though, I'd tell her she looks like a fat hog and needs to drop 50 pounds at least. Some people thnk that looking like death warmed over is beauty, so I'd do everything I could do to push her in that direction, but hey, that's just me.

maybe she wants to learn proper nutrition and how to eat correctly. weight watchers will tell them what their ideal weight is for their body type. they will tell them how to properly manage their diet as far as food and exercise. most people don't understand nutrition and they teach that

if she's really exaggerated with the whole losing weight thing then i would call her obssessed with her own body. but if she's just like normal and when they offer her something like a burger and she takes it she's like "hey a burger won't hurt me, i'm excersing everday" so u judge.

maybe she doesn't want to lose any weight. Maybe she just wants to maintain the weight she has.
